Xandros Network

I was under the impression that Xandros Network only got a small collection of programs. Is that right?

Although there is always Deiban repositories to help out, but I thought similar to Linspire, Xandros is also modified so much from the original Debian that using apt-get to install from Debian repositories always has the potential to hose the sytem.

Anyone know what the actual situation is?

Xandros will most certainly get broken if you use the regular debian respositorys, especially if you try to do an apt-get upgrade... bad idea lol

well of course a apt-get upgrade will crack it wide open

i use my libranet disks to install a lot of stuff on my xandrox OCE2 and it does just fine.... i think i have also used woody disks as sources as well... just dont replace the xandros packages and you are fine...
