It's a brief interview and one that doesn't go much into details. It will be nice to see a fixed CVS, however, even in the face of all the newer alternatives (SVN, Arch, etc.).

Why is it that every OpenBSD developer as a unique, cool sounding name?

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to OpenCVS (not that anyone cares what I think but me).

Because they're cool, libertarian hipsters? who knows.

A good number of them are from countries where English-style names are not necessarily the norm. In general, they are a pretty international group.

Yes, they are mostly an international group. But not every international name sounds as cool as Theo De Raddt or Joris Vink.

Also, is exclaiming "Humppa!" in an English interview common for international people? These hackers are some of the coolest people around.

It's common for OpenBSD developers, humppa is their favourite music - as can be observed by the constant references to it within OpenBSD related media.

The reason why we choose Joris Vink, was because his motherthongue is Dutch. We at NedBSD will do some more interviews with more *BSD-developers, but these interviews will be in Dutch. The reason why we did this interview in English, was because that way it would be accessible for more people, not only those who speak Dutch.
