Multimedia, AV This is the era of multimedia we are living in. PMPs and PVRs are part of most consumer's everyday lives, be it as a capable phone, an iPod or as a portable video device. Geeks.com sent in the 30 GB version of the MPM-20x to check it out and review it (a 60 GB version is also available).

Could you add some pics where we can see how big this thing actually is? It's difficult to figure without any scale or relation. How handy is it?

Size-wise it is similar to the 2 other PMPs (the Linux-based MX2020 PMP is a bit smaller than the 3). Basically, its size is the same as most of the PMPs that use a laptop hard drive. If you seen one, you have seen most of them (in terms of size that is). It is easily carriable though.

Let me know against which device you want me to shoot it for: a Dell x50v, an HP PDA, a PalmV, a CD or a phone.

I think the PDA would make for a good comparison then.

Thanks a lot!

Ok, it's done. Go back to the article, I added a second size-comparison picture, and also at the very end of the article, I included a video clip of the unit while it was playing the Matrix trailer (.3gp video, shot with my phone camera).

I've heard of this device, and it sounds pretty good, particularly the replaceable battery part. However, I can't seem to track down where I might be able to buy a spare battery, even even the details of what battery it takes. Anyone know?

Also, Eugenia, did your review unit come with a spare battery? Evidently ENGadget's did. I'd like to know before I get one.

Looking for such a player withan ebook reader. PDF support would be very nice!

Also, when you watch a movie and shut it down, does it resume where you left off upon restart?

No and No. The second question is already answered in the article.
