SuSE, openSUSE We barely got time to install the first one, the second one is still in the donwload queue, but the third one is already here. OpenSUSE Linux 10.1 Beta 3 has been released , and it includes a number of bug fixes - however, we can't really tell which since they placed the changelog on the first CD. Here's to hoping this won't set a trend.

Much to my disappointment SUSE has refused to cooperate with my hardware since 10.0. Same with 10.1 beta1.
I don't know when I'll try again: it might be beta4/RC1 or even 10.1 final. The latter is unlikely though, as I would like to contribute to beta testing at least a bit.

Can you say what hardwre is at the root of the issue. Finding out may be useful to SuSE if a previous version worked and to you in terms of getting onto the testing cycle.

I'm just curious myself. (;

The problems are mainly with a Nvidia Geforce 6200 and a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit.

During the alpha/beta stages is exactly where you need to make your bug submissions.

Curious..... what is your hardware?

"During the alpha/beta stages is exactly where you need to make your bug submissions."

Of course I agree, but I am feeling a bit frustrated as the problem has been going on since 10.0. They know already about the Nvidia Geforce 6000 series (please see my post above re my hardware)
