GNU, GPL, Open Source "The third International Forum on Free Knowledge brought together many groups and individuals interested in the development of free software worldwide to the city of Maracaibo. One reason Venezuela choose to host this event is because starting in January (2006), their new free software law, directive 3.390, comes into effect, which mandates all government agencies to migrate to free software over a two year period. I was invited to speak about Telephonia Libre: the use of free software in telecommunications."

If you want to change the capitalists to socialists, no thanks, it's just another form of boundage. We just need sensible and reasonable people leading the countries. Nowadays we have lunatics governing (Bush, Ahmadinejad, Karimov, Sharon, al Assad, Berlusconi, Putin, etc...). They all need psychological assistence.

Freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice.
Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality.

I'm not sure if S America's problems can be attibuted to the US alone, there are some successful SA economies, Chile and Costa Rica for example are very successful. It's more a matter of sensible economic policies at home. It's always easy to blame someone else for one troubles rather than face difficult choices at home.

It's the US interest to keep South America in debt and reimburse forever. But no one knows it.

That's life, live with it.

You dont know what we are going trough in this moment in our country (Im from Venezuela of course) so please change the title of this article you dont know what liberation means to us. Liberation to us is to get rid of Chavez.

Chavez talks about freedom, about socialism, etc etc etc
but the only thing he has being doing is giving our money to other countries while people here are dying because they dont have where to go or what to eat.

:)
