Databases Oracle has finally, after much delay, released 10g for the Solaris x86 platform. This should be a big boost for Sun's Galaxy class servers as well as other Solaris x86 users everywhere. You can get your copy at Oracle's download page. On a related note, "this article is a step by step guide for tuning and optimizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux on x86 and x86-64 platforms running Oracle 9i (32bit/64bit) and Oracle 10g (32bit/64bit) databases."

This is a comment so people in Oracle calm down , and do not think that nobody is interested anymore in their database and products, now that everybody start to use PostgreSQL and MySQL.... ;)

I was hoping it would be a Solaris port of the Express Edition so I could use it for free on a webserver.
