Hardware, Embedded Systems "The U series from Asus has been one sort of an X factor in ultraportable notebooks for the past generation or two. Not being from a company like Dell, HP, or Lenovo, it tends to not get as much attention, but emerged as interesting alternatives. These models are most popular with PC builders and people already familiar with the Asus brand. The U6S is a 12.1" notebook with a Core 2 Duo T7500 processor and a weight of 3.5lbs."

...that most ultra-portables don't come with a docking station connector. Especially these small form-factor devices would largely profit from easy extensibility at the workplace. Unfortunatly the ASUS U6 is no exception and doesn't come with docking station connector. ;)

I believe this was the market that the Powerbook 12" was competing in. I can't be the only person who needs a small form factor laptop with decent graphic capabilities (none of that integrated Intel stuff). The Macbooks are a little too big and the video chipset is abysmal.

Even so, this would be ideal to replace an aging Powerbook 12".
