Privacy, Security, Encryption Remember Conficker, the worm that wouldn't have been as devastating as it has been had people just kept their machines up to date? Even though the critical patch had already been released way before Conficker started its rampage, the worm became one of the worst infections to date. A Romanian company has found a cure for the worm.

Romanians are the ones who released Conficker. BitDefender (a Romanian company) has an army of Romanian hackers who write and release computer viruses, in order to keep BitDefender in business. This is not a conspiracy theory. It is a fact.

Facts are usually followed by some sort of proof...?

Of course not.

It is a fact.

Good thing your allegations are standing on such a solid foundation of proof.

thanks for making me laugh ;)
we romanians are all hackers in order to keep a software company in business. we're thinking of kidnaping turists and empty them of blood to keep the dracula myth alive, so we can help holywood studios to forget about the financial crisis by releasing more stupid vampires movies based on real events.

As you might now the worm blocks your access to a big number of sites which could provide you removal tools. so...bdtools.net is THE ONLY site that can be accessed if you are infected.you run the tool there and your problem is solved.BitDefender never said they are the first to discover the worm, but the first to offer an accessible tool to help you solve the problem.

The definitive cure

I found the definitive cure for 99.99% of the malwares. I am using a linux desktop. Simple, free and definitive solution.

When I need windows to run some widows-only application I preferer to use wine or run windows in a virtual machine. If it becomes infected it is much easier to reinstall: I only copy one file from backup over the infected file representing the C: drive.

There is a new site from BitDefender that contains all critical information about downadup or conficker infections. The site contains a tool for home users and also a tool for network administrators that helps deployment on workstations and starts a cleaning routine. - htttp://www.downadup.org
