Intel Intel says its Medfield chip, designed for low-end smartphones, is in production and will ship later this year. Tablets using Intel's Oak Trail chips will ship this year, before Medfield will appear in products. According to Intel's Ultra Mobility Group, Medfield will have the fastest processor on the market, the same standby time as chips from competitors and the longest active power use time of any chip.

mostly this new Intel Process phone will have MeeGO. I think, mobile app developer has to learn a lot, as every mobile OS different SDK,UI,...etc.
I feel petty on mobile app developers.

Why ? Smart mobile phone developers use something like PhoneGap around an app build in HTML/CSS/JS. The developer makes the application, PhoneGap will make it portable.

We can expect samples of the new chips to start appearing in Q2 2011 in single and dual-core models. Quad-core Snapdragons won’t arrive until 2012.
That means the first device will arrive on market in 2013 or so.

The first device with Quad core Cortex-A9 will be Sony NGP what should arrive at january 2012.

ARM-crowd announce their products before they ever have something to show, in contrast to Intel with announce date close to product launch.
