OpenQNX reports that Julian (a.k.a. Kinners) has ported GTK2 and family to QNX6. You can find them in his repository here. This GTK2 port uses XFree86 4.3 for QNX.

Any chance of a non-xfree gtk2 port, like the one for Windows?
Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I love QNX to death. One of the main reasons for that is it has a decent GUI without X11. There are, of course, more reasons than that why QNX, together with FreeBSD, have replaced GNU/Linux as my OS of choice. But the relevant one here is that QNX has a decent GUI sans-X11, and I'd like to be able to run GTK2 programs, like the wonderful ROX-Filer, withour starting up an X server.

That's _a lot_ of work, so I don't expect it personally.

I think that would be very, very cool to see. Though as Eugenia said, it would probably be an excessive amount of work.
People should be aware that these packages rely on a shlib that is not part of the 4.2 XFree86 packages on QNX Online. I am working on getting a set of 4.3 packages produced.

Defenitly a wonderful desktop. Would be wonderfull if something like the Photon would someday be available for the open source community for Linux or FreeBSD, wouldn't it. QNX is a wonderfull system, I love it a lot.
There is an X11 server that bridges into Photon, XPhoton. SO you don't have to leave Photon and should be able to run ROX-Filer just fine.
