Not a very good article, more of just someone talking about what made them buy their current phone rather than anything about the future of smart phones. Not a patch on Nicholas Blachford's speculative articles, even if I disagree with him sometimes.

some of those phones are not even out to market yet.
Everybody's needs vary ( I want everything and the kitchen sink for isntance with the battery life to allow me to use everything :p)

Not to be a party pooper but its running windows. It be nice if there were alternatives that worked. i am not infavor for increasing Microsofts market domnance. Moreover, i already own an ipaq, i wouldn't mind a smartphone that runs another os. I hope other developers start to make an OS for cellphones, such as Apple or any flavor of linux and/or BSD would be nice.
