Conversations I was going to respond to Adam's response to my query about editing times on posts, and I was shot down because it had been 5 days since the topic was created, despite the fact that it had been less than 24 hours since Adam's post. What do you guys think about changing the archiving deadline to something like 3 days after the most recent post instead of 5 days after the topic's creation?

Title says it all.
I'd even suggest a timeframe of, say, one week after the last post.
Of course, admins always have the option of and should not be yelled at for closing a conversation if people post bullshit just to keep it alive.

Change "1 Comments" to "1 Comment"

No sense in having that error. ;)

The issue is that the conversation page, I *expect* will cycle fairly quickly, so active conversations will be way out of the site of most people. The idea was to close conversations so they aren't eternally active.

I'm not opposed to extending the window, but if it's, for example, 7 days after the last comment, it could theoretically be alive forever. Then again - is that a bad thing if there's an actual conversation?

Maybe it should be 5 days minimum, two or three days after the last post max. Thoughts?

I like that... if it's a hot topic, why artificially kill it?
