Conversations I haven't been able to vote + or - on comments under the V4 client for several days. Occasionally it works, but 95% of the times it doesn't. I have to switch to the old client to vote, so I generally don't (too big of a hassle). I am using XP SP2 with a fully-patched IE6.

I don't know if you are still taking bug reports on V4, but I thought I would submit it anyway. Let me know if there is a better way.

Do you get an error? What was it?

From my end, this bug does not seem to exist in IE7.

Maybe it's because OSNews is using something that's buggy in IE6 but patched in IE7?

I haven't stopped to see if the bug I mentioned the other day happens in IE7 too.

I receive no error, I click and nothing happens. I am able to click the recommend option, and it works.

BTW, it is extremely difficult now for me to even come to V4. The bug I reported last week is back. Now everytime I come to V4, the site locks up IE - 50% CPU usage and IE says not responding (no matter how long you wait). This went away for a few days, but now it is back. In order to come here, I had to answer no every time I was prompted to allow a script to run - I have to manually allow scripts to run due to security setting where I work. My guess is there may be timimg issues due to the fact I have to manually approve scripts running. I don't know why it has crept up recently. I've had no trouble before.

To test it, set your browser so that you have manually approve every script and ActiveX that wants to run. It's an annoying way to surf the net, but I have no choice.

If no one else reports these bugs, I would forget about it since I am probably in a small minority of people who have to approve scripts running.
