Conversations It's taken some time to get around to cleaning up some of the scripts, but I'm working on making v4 code cleaner and valid. As of today, we have reached a new milestone: valid XHTML!

As always, this is a blog-style site, so validity may be temporary, I have to rely on authors to make sure they are entering valid code and if not, that my code properly cleans it. But in the meantime, as of today, the front page of v4 is valid.

Still can't use V4 for day to day use

I still have to use the old site most of the time - v4 locks up IE6 unless I answer no to every prompt "Do you want to let this script run". Otherwise, one of the scripts goes into an endless loop and consumes 100% cpu. I work where I cannot turn of the "Allow this script" prompt. When I answer no to the scripts, I lose some of the cool new features, like moderating without a postback. In fact, I can't moderate at all without the script.

I know of no other site that I have this problem with, and they use a lot scripts. One site, LinuxDevices.com, apparently has 20-30 scripts on each page, so I have to hit the Yes button 20-30 times for each page. But they do all work.

Just an FYI.

Which script????? Any ideas? Do you have specifics on the error? I don't have IE6 available to me easily.
