In short: the UNIX copyrights are now legally considered to be owned by Novell, the company behind the Windows/Linux hybrid.
I haven't submitted it to OSnews since... well, this is Groklaw we're talking about, not a reputable source. Can anyone get confirmation on this from somewhere else?

Hello,
I am new to this site, I have been looking for some place to ask questions about Linux.
I have been playing with it on and off.
My first taste of Linux was Corel, I paid 12.00 for it took it to my teck class and irritated off my professor with it.
I really want to be certified with Linux ~vs~ Windows.
Well, I am not a hard core tech I would prefer to be a geek. Right now I am running Xandros on one PC and Windows on the other. anyway, this is the link
This is what I read about it.

Groklaw has a great reputation in regard to analysis of law. In some circles (pro-SCO and pro-Microsoft) is has a poor reputation because of PJ's clear and unhidden bias towards FLOSS.
PJ has a great reputation for correct facts and accurate analysis - the opposite of Rob Menderle and Laura DiDio.
Poor reputation because of bias in personal taste is not equal to low reputation because of incorrect information or poor analysis. One cannot correctly claim that PJ has a poor reputation in regard to law. Again. Only pro-SCO, pro-Microsoft and anti-FLOSS persons have issues with PJ and her bias towards FLOSS. Which is quite natural. They have different bias so they don't like hers
