Conversations I couldn't access OS News at all yesterday, from work or at home. I tried several sites around the world that check if a site is up or down and they all said it was down.

Did anyone else have trouble?

We had some serious issues there, and we're still fixing things. I'm not sure what exactly (ask Adam) went wrong. It's also the reason why there were no news updates from me - it was down when I had the time to do OSNews. The rest of the day was spent studying.

I'm here now, updates are a'coming.

We're making a lot of changes in preparation for OSnews version 5. Some of them are pretty major architecture changes that altered the PHP pretty significantly. We learned, the hard way, about some inefficiencies of high traffic websites.

Please, when you have the time, write about your findings. Real world problems like this tends to be an insightful read.
