Conversations It seems as the recent update of the website "kills" the support for the well known IE6 browser.
The JIT-debugger of VS highlights the problem is the pngfilt.dll file that fires an exception. It looks like the new web-design is using png-alpha "hack" in a wrong way (e.g. on a non existing pic-file, etc.). It worked more or less fine with OSNews4-design.

I would suggest you to test the website with the following browsers:
IE6 (still most widely used browser), IE7, Firefox 2, Opera 9, Safari 3

(I wrote this comment with FF2)

Conversations The OSNews v3 comment page is broken in IE6 and FF2; no article text visible, and the first comment start just below the last menu-bar entry which means the visitor has to scroll down ...
It works fine in Opera 9 and Safari 3 though.

Conversations IMHO, the comment function should work like this: write a text as usual and then highlight the text using the mouse/keyboard and click on bold, italic or link. Bold and italic shall surround the highlighted text with the related bbcode tags. The link button shall open a input-promt where the user can insert the hyperlink and the highlighted text will get surrounded with the additional "code". If nothing is highlighted, it may work as it is implemented in the current beta version.
