Microsoft Microsoft has been looking at a possible acquisition of the Yahoo online portal and search engine, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. Citing unnamed sources, the paper claims that a faction within Microsoft is lobbying to have the company purchase a stake in the search provider, but that such plans are "on hold".

.... I admit I did not see that coming, but if they decided that the only way to win over Google is to MSNize Yahoo, be it that way.

That said the next one that has the guts to brush off the accuse of Monopoly from Microsoft gets bashed.
Right after I shake their hands and compliment them for the courage to go on with such an unsustainable point.
