Ummm no, the whole world doesn't call it football, and even if they did it wouldn't make it right. A few extremely arrogant asshats on this forum decided to start this whole mess. I just corrected it. period.
Most of the world does call "soccer" football. It's not about being arrogant. And it might make it "wrong" in your eyes. But that's a fact. It's not however something worth lowering yourself down to name calling for.
But if it makes you happy, we'll call it "soccer" and we'll call American Football "gridiron". How's that?
