so can you rpm/whatever upgrade your whole system?
I've done it with both smartpm and yum.
can you simulate upgrades to see what will happen?
I seem to recall both yum and smartpm running a test install before doing the real thing.
can you downgrade with rpm/whatever?
try the --oldversion switch
can you mix and match with rpm?
Sometimes. I could say the exact same thing about deb based distros.
