The two Sony reps that were kind enough to bring us the machine brought it in a bag, popped it out and placed it on our table. We connected it to our TV and we were away. Forget any dev-kit speculation and empty cases. PS3 is real and it works brilliantly."

I am all for the Wii being successfull. I just don't see it getting major market share compared to the XBox360 and PS3.

To be honest though, I am more than creeped out by the fact that the Wii wants a 24/7 internet connection and turning it 'off' just puts it into hybernate mode. What does Nintendo need that kind of access for?
