xfs compared with jfs: almost 4x the amount of source code.
I'm in one of my "simpler is better" moods. I'm not sure what the LOC count is on the original reiserfs, but xfs gets more development because there's more code to hack on (and therefore must be fixed).
Disclaimer: I've only run reiserfs on servers, and never played with xfs or jfs.
