Anyway, it's quite amazing how long I've been using the current GNOME icons now and I still love them.
Every once in a while I try one of the new shiny icon sets, but always get tired of them very quickly.
Yeah, I agree. The original icon set is the only really complete one, so I always end up using it too. It might not be as shiny as Crystal, or Apple's Aqua icons I use on my iBook, but at least it is coherent, and it doesn't pretend to be anything more than a default icon set.
