As for themeing, that is something that is high on the agenda for the next few months.

thanks for your post, that was very helpful. that seems to just take care of osx and the windowmaker environment though. are there any plans to make it so that one can make their application's menu fit into the platform its running on better? i'm specifically thinking of something like gnome or win32 where the menu is typically associated and located in a window rather than floating elsewhere on the desktop.
