FreeBSD "Linux has a large amount of device drivers for hardware not supported on FreeBSD, especially USB devices. Not rarely, such drivers have been written based on information derived by protocol sniffing, reverse engineering and the like. This makes the code highly undocumented, and renders the porting effort extremely error prone. To help with this task, I decided to start working on an emulation layer that would let us recompile the linux source code on FreeBSD, and provide a sufficiently complete emulation of the kernel APIs so that device drivers (or at least certain classes) could be used without modifications to their source code."

Tristan ,

Sorry but you don't understand what I am talking about at all and what the situation is really about.

Now , I am all for BSD getting driver for there device , the problem is they don't because :

They don't do the work.
They don't fund there project.
They don't have developer working on it.
They blame everyone else but them self.

They need to realize that and fix that real problem now.

Now , this webpage on the surface look like its going somewhere , but its not. They are making an *emulator* to rip of the GNU/linux GPL device driver for FreeBSD only. Its worthless and unsupported and more trouble then its worth , like everything BSD.

Now in theory its all good but in practice emulator of any kind suck compared to the real thing.

Now on top of that they make lies , libel and slandering toward GNU/Linux and its community.

We don't have good documentations , we don't share it with them , we don't make sure the driver work with BSD , we steal the driver we have from other , we don't pay for them , our developer are all thieves and hacks who don't know what they are doing. Its the opposite of what the GNU/Linux community does in reality.

I am not talking about GPL violation here , I am talking about blaming GNU/Linux for what they got. When even that project clearly show that its them who take from GNU/Linux and GPL all the time. They are responsible for there own faith.

I am insulting on purpose , because , being nice to them is even more pointless , they know better and are always right , witch of course is not the reality at all , so I insult them and sometime they actually look it up.

Hey , I basically said that this project need to cooperate more with GNU/Linux, make a call for help from other BSD , get itself on sourceforge and make a wiki , get funding and more developer to help ,I must be totally insane ( its the opposite actually ) and I am wrong for them whatever I say , this way at least , I make one of my goal for life with BSD , trying to get ride of it one person at a time and having fun insulting them back will at it.

Deal with BSD's on a daily basis , then tell me I am wrong ...
