Would it not help to point out those 'technical faults' so that even if you're not going to file bugs, other astute readers may?
I'm going to take a guess that the lack of memory protection is one of them. Maybe it's the crappy (by modern standards) API (BOOPSI is pretty ugly after all). I don't know if I'd consider those "bugs" just design problems.
As an aside, I really hate recursive acronyms.
