The two weeks bit also confuses me...
The author claims to have had Panther installed by default on the Mac Mini. The Mini hasn't shipped with Panther installed for some time.
If the author did buy a "Series A" Mini with Panther installed, then the Mighty Mouse certainly wasn't an option at the time.
Leads me to question the credibility of the article without getting into issues of 'study' length.
