Microsoft has released its Virtual Machine Additions for Linux. "Virtual Machine Additions for Linux are designed to improve the usability and interoperability of running qualified Linux operating systems as guests or virtual machines of Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1." Red Hat and SUSE are the obvious supported guests.

Business is business, do you really think Red Hat or SuSE is going to be very concerned when the CEO's are making millions off selling 'free' software and providing support?
In the end it plays out like this:
1. CEO's make millions
2. Lawyers make millions
3. Shareholders make millions
4. Businesses pay out $$$
5. End user (is forgotten).....
