Hello? ZENworks anyone?
ZENworks makes group policies look like a joke. It allows you to manage Windows, Linux, Netware, Blackberry, Windows CE and Palm workstations/servers/devices from a single console, deploy software, apply policies, etc.
Given the features it offers, the price is actually cheap. Novell Open Enterprise Server 2.0 includes ZENworks (those "Desktop Management", "Linux Management", etc in the product flyer are ZENworks).
By the way, it also supports Active Directory group policies.
