.NET (dotGNU too) Scott Guthrie has announced that Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5 are now available for download and provides a tour of some of the new features. "Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5 contain a ton of new functionality and improvements. Below are links to blog posts I've done myself as well as links to videos you can watch to learn more about it."

Yeah, I rather have the IDE crashing than the server crashing. My favorite .NET story is that my .NET teacher said how amazing .NET platform and stable it is, in a second the projector originally showing VS.NET 2003 turned into blue screen of death. After 5 attempts running Hello World app finally got it running but then in 5 seconds the app crashed the school development server...lovely VS.NET IDE/Server, you like this? God bless you.
