One thing I've always wondered. Why is everything so huge? Compare a GNOME/Gtk+ menu to a KDE/Qt menu the former is much bigger, and it's not just menus, buttons too. Icons can be bigger or smaller in KDE, as all KDE apps give you the option to adjust icon size among other things. The question is though, is this a GTK issue? or is it a Gnome issue?
This wasn't intended as a flame war and a one word snswer would suffice.
