Qt Trolltech has published a preview of Qt 4.4. "Qt 4.4 is one of the most exciting Qt releases ever, expanding the range of what is possible with Qt. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I don't really know much about this (and would like to) but:

Can't you just use Boehm's gc by yourself in your app ? Does the framework need to support it anyhow ?

I've been thinking in trying libgc with Gtk+ and I think the answer wouldn't be that different so, that's why I'm asking.
