This is pure nonsense, as Photoshop performance on Apple systems is the killer app of them. I think they are in love with certain company or something, this radical change is weird.
I think Apple is probably doing negotiations in some way with Adobe for trying to resolve this. If not, Apple will purchase a small companies with quite interesting alternatives to Adobe products and improving it a lot by brute force (a lot more devs in the team) or a new development from scratch (less probably knowing the typical Apple's way).
