Gnome GNOME 2.22.1 has been released. "This is the first update to GNOME 2.22. Come and see all the bug fixing, all the new translations and all the updated documentation brought to you by the wonderful team of GNOME contributors! A lot of work has been done in the stable branch to make it even more solid than it was."

SJ87, you are mentioning applications (tracker, compiz and macmenu) that aren't even in the official ArchLinux repositories.
Tracker isn't in the official ArchLinux repositories otherwise it would have been fixed to work with your gnome 2.22 installation of nautilus.
Compiz is also not an official ArchLinux package. Also the macmenu plugin you mentioned isn't in the official archlinux repository.

You shouldn't expect third party packages in community/unsupported to actually work with official ArchLinux gnome 2.22 packages. Using unofficial packages even ones done by TU's is at your own risk.
Only official packages are supported.

I'm currently using ArchLinux's official gnome 2.22 packages are they are rock stable.
