Windows Along with the release of the Windows 7 release candidate came new system requirements for Microsoft's next operating system. When I was using XP it required 87MB to boot, with completely usable and very fast system.
The rest is up to you obviously, if you want to play Doom, or work with heavy graphic then you need much more than basic system (better video, more RAM faster processor, but this has nothing to do with microsoft)


Doom? You mean the game that runs quite happily on a 80486 with 8MB RAM...?
