Windows SuperFetch is a technology in Windows Vista and onwards that is often misunderstood. I decided to delve into this technology to see what it is all about, and to dispel some of the myths surrounding this feature.

I have been using it for quit some time now under Ubuntu. It is called preload. Works almost the same way as SuperFetch.

Mostly Microsoft buys inventions or re-invents them (just like RSS, they never invented it but they act like they did and most people will believe it's something they invented).
