Linux We all know them. We all hate them. They are generally overdone, completely biased, or so vague they border on the edge of pointlessness (or toppled over said edge). Yes, I'm talking about those "Is Linux ready for the desktop" articles. Still, this one is different.

I think that Haiku covers most of the aspects you've mentioned before. No need for a new OS.

Linux is shitty because is lacking a central development team and is lacking leadership. Linux is like chaos.

We don't need thousands of GUI toolkits, thousands of desktops, thousands of windows managers, thousands of package managers. We need a single app for a job, but an app who does its job well.
