I don't agree. Windows is just as crappy as Linux but enjoys a huge marketing machine... Just give Linux a company that applies aggresive marketing, vendor lock-in, 10min commercials on TV and millions of dollars to bribe hardware vendors and politicians and they will succeed. The cause of Linux' failure isnt a technical one, it's a social cause. Linux is powered by Nerds, Windows and Mac are powered by businessmen.
