"The Pirate Bay has been urging users not to abandon ship following yesterday's announcement that a Swedish internet cafe software firm planned to buy the BitTorrent site for $7.8m. If the new business model doesn't revolve around users being able to leech as much copyrighted content as they want without paying for it, then The Pirate Bay is done. If these people actually have to start paying for stuff, they'll just migrate somewhere else.
