The Mono discussion may be tiring, but the fact of the matter is that thanks to this discussion, various major Linux distributions are now making official statements detailing their position in the Mono/C# debate. The latest to do this is Ubuntu, which reiterated their position yesterday.

Let's label mono for what it is with regard to Linux users: a classic Trojan Horse, a foot in the door, a nose under the tent, or whatever "slippery slope" metaphor you want to employ.
At some point, Ubuntu will have to make a license deal with MS and then you'll likely be charged to use Ubuntu and its variants. That's why I'll stick with Fedora thank you.
