Opera Software Last week, the European Commission announced that Microsoft is willing to implement a browser ballot screen in Windows so that users can select a browser to install when installing Windows or when setting up their OEM computer. While this makes Opera very happy, Opera would like to see Ubuntu and Apple offer such a ballot screen too.

Bet on the wrong horse? Lost?

What on earth are you talking about...

Opera is not on the way out in any shape or form. They as a company continue to make money and more money and help shape the way the internet evolves like other vendors and in some markets moreso than most.

So what is this weird triumphalist thing that's going on here? I know OSNews is and always has been a quite sickening sychophantic haven for Firefoxophiles but isn't this just a bit over the top even for here?
