Talk, Rumors, X Versus Y Apart from Linux and the various BSD operating systems, there's another open source UNIX-like operating system (actually, it's a certified UNIX): OpenSolaris. There are a few key differences between Linux and OpenSolaris, and TuxRadar lists some of them so that Linux users can dive right into Solaris.

I love that logic. By GNU's definition its own license which it created, uses, and endorses is the best.

Well, I should certainly hope so. Otherwise they need to change one of them.

In related news, I declare myself the best "Bill Shooter of Bul" in history. A far superior one to "Carl shooter of Bul". That guy's a jackass who couldn't bill shoot of bull if his life depends upon it. Everything he does ends up carl shot of bull.
