I can bet money they would consider Unix 32v on a VAX, no longer a 'Unix'.
The open group & their ilk have done their best to keep Unix fragmented, fought over, and trampled by Windows NT, while Linux busily ate their lunch while they charge insance prices for the honor of being called a "unix".
I'm sure Microsoft thanks them every day for letting Windows NT soak up most of their market.
