Late June 2009 I bought a 13" MacBook Pro (2.26 GHz, 4 GB RAM). I suppose that after just three months, the blinding "first joys" over getting a laptop have worn off. By now, I deem my thoughts about this device to be realistic and of an appropriate level. The past few weeks I attained mastery over the Mac OS through personal discovery, accompanied by a very insightful book; I bought additional software and hacked the Dock to suit my preferences.

Pues.....
Though I like my white macbook case, I think the important thing there is what makes a mac to be a mac: the OS; and I am not talking about its beautiful eye candy neither: I am talking about its construction: built on top of a Microkernel, allowing me doing unix stuff, allowing me to create nice things on top of the beautiful Cocoa framework and all such stuff: OpenCL, GCD and all the Quartz stuff are amazing technologies: Such things are the important things to me....
The eye candy... is.... just eye candy
