I wish I didn't have to void the warranty on my Razr just to get it to do what it's supposed to do.
I left Verizon for just that reason. You used to be able to get an LG phone from them that had LG's software and interface. Then some idiot at Verizon came up with the great idea of having a single unified interface for all their phones so anybody on Verizon would be able to operate someone else's Verizon phone. This would work (but still suck) for the 30 different $10 - $30 phones they carry, but once you get into smart phones, BlackBerrys, and Android devices its pointless.
Now I'm on T-Mobile with a rooted MyTouch 3G.
It is refreshing going into the "About Phone" link and seeing "Kernel Version 2.6.29.6". I think thats newer than the kernels I run at home. I'm running the BFS scheduler too.
