Umm... How is it that the PA Semi/Arm/Apple history was overlooked before this article was posted? Of course Apple didn't design the chip in-house! That's like saying that Asus designs their entire products in-house.
I'm going to throw out there that running a "news" (and I use heavy quotes here) site implies current knowledge events reported.
Or is OSNews a blog? Then you're ok.
