Windows Heck, Microsoft really weren't kidding when they said Windows 7 was the fastest-selling operating system in the world. NetApplications released its figures for January 2010, and it seems that after only three months of availability, Microsoft's latest baby has already hit the 10% market share mark.

2006-02-05 Windows 7 has been sitting on the table for three months. I have had neither the time nor the inclination to load it. I wonder if that counts in their 10%?

The fact that my desktop is running Arch Linux, and does most everything I need, may have something to do with that. Linux may not be "ready for the desktop", but that is something I probably could not have said even five years ago.
