GTK+ Imendio announced that it has been working on a port of native Gtk+ for Mac OS X.

I'm not sure where you got that information from. wxWidgets has layout systems similar to Gtk (tables, boxes, etc.), and on Windows will use the native Windows file chooser. On Linux, it will use the Gtk one.
