The more I read about systemd the more I like it. I was initially skeptical, but it seems to be coming along very fast (as opposed to, say, PulseAudio
).
I was actually working on my own init system (which had a similar design to systemd), but now I think I'll just go with systemd. It seems a lot more flexible than the system I was working on, and it looks like all the major distros will be using systemd soon.
