I'm concerned about the claim about it entering "bugfix mode". Just from ideas I've seen from Lennart, there's implementing cron-like behavior and making systemd work for user-level services. There's also some interesting space to explore with cgroups. Without all of this, systemd is less interesting. Add that's not even counting concerns about the current system's complete ability to replace the status quo, or even anything to do with user interaction points and tools. Therefore, if after another month it gets declared done and he moves on, it'd be a shame if other developers don't pick up from there.
